The Blues Have It

...as the color of the moment.

True blue, pastel style

Sapphire? Cobalt? Almost navy?

Bright for sure!

Love it on the floor

Have you noticed that the only colors paired with the blue have been white
and a touch of green?

Ahh- turquoise complemented by red

And to throw a kicker into the mix, how about a fabulous wall with out-and-out red?

Charlotte Gueniau's wall of red- love it! Charlotte owns RICE, the Danish homewares and accessories company.

Which is your favorite?

Softly Mottled Patinas

Lovely patinas in the blues and terracotta today...

Such beautiful wood on this barn, photographed by Deborah Silver, of Detroit Garden Works, over at Dirt Simple.

Today, I'll be working on the second of two outdoor weddings this weekend. Yesterday's storms came through at the most inopportune moment, but with much good humor and hard work by all of the behind-the-scene staff, the wedding turned out beautifully, if not memorably! Of course, photos were the last things on our minds, but I do wish we could have had the whole scene recorded. Whew!
What are you doing today?
