Into Blue & Green

Seeing the striking colors of Rock at Sea by Raymond Jonson, housed at the Cleveland Museum of Art, reinforces exactly why I like the color combination of blue and green together. Here they are brilliant and vibrant,

while here, blue and green are peaceful and calming.

The soft green plaster walls and blue shelf accents read charming, no?

Who can resist deep blue hyacinths?

Beautiful shades of green are layered on this headboard.

I always love checking out the powder pigment colors with their myriad of possibilities.

A fabulous blue/green combination on this aged French door.

Do you do blue + green?

Bananas as Art?

Who would have thought?

I found these photos of the modest banana's various growth
and harvest phases to be striking.

Quite an impressively large plant!
This banana farm is in the Canary Islands.

Even its temporary storage system is a mosaic all on its own.

Out and About

No matter how you look at it, we'll be outdoors today.

We have two events at work this holiday weekend, both outdoors to enjoy our beautiful (fingers crossed) weather.

Afterwards, we'll kick back and enjoy with family.
I wouldn't mind relaxing in any of these choices:

For the family reunion...

Or just our kids over for a visit...

Or just perfect for the two of us.

Which would you choose?
