Having missed the 2010 Kips Bay Showhouse last fall, I was intrigued when I saw Eve Robinson's exquisite kitchen in the latest New York Spaces magazine.
Love the fresh color combination of purple, white, silver and spring green. The reverse-painted glass backsplash adds a nice color pop in an unexpected place.
Reminiscent of the Metropolitan Opera House's Swarovski crystal fixtures, the Sputnik-like chandelier fits perfectly in the room. It is made by Venfield.

I could definitely sit at this fun desk. The almost weightlessness of the desk and chair still allow the light to stream in from outdoors.
