Pretty It Up: Ceilings

I suppose it is because I have spent the past few days up on a ladder painting a huge and ugly ceiling that I am attracted to these lovelies today.

Plaster molding to-die-for with fun colors.

Aren't they wonderful?

Ceiling options

Here is a fine example of making the ceiling work for you.

Instead of blah white, the gold and silver mottling of the ceiling reads bronze and intensifies the ochre color on the walls.

Blue plaster ceiling

Gotta love this plaster ceiling.

The blue pigment is perfecto.

Just enough aging, yet it looks totally contemporary.
