Deco Havana

Enjoy the haunting beauty of Havana, Cuba, as seen from the eyes of Robert Polidori. His stark capture of the Art Deco and Art Nouveau buildings is breathtaking.

The grand rooms hold such promise...

The delicate ironwork, the lively colors of the Caribbean...

This wall could also be in Italy, no?

This space must be the original inspiration for today's eclectic wood walls.

Simple, elegantly beautiful and sad at the same time.

For more inspirations, read Robert Polidori's book, Havana.
(Hint: if you cannot find the book in a bookstore or online, try your library.)

  3. Yes, very sad. Imagine having these beautiful spaces which must have meant much to many, just rotting away? Unimaginable.

  7. Nicely presented information in this post, I prefer to read this kind of stuff. The quality of content is fine and the conclusion is fine.
