To Market, to Market and a Happy Birthday!

Off to the market holds so many possibilities!
Have you ever seen dragon fruit before? I had not either.

We are lucky to have the West Side Market here in Cleveland. It is full of amazing stalls that carry any ethnic specialty, meat or produce, that you can imagine.  It will be 100 years old next year.

The yellow brick markethouse was designed by architects Charles Hubbell and W. Dominick Benes, who also designed the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Wade Memorial Chapel in Lakeview Cemetery.

The Market has over 100 vendors in the interior concourse and exterior arcade. It is always full of beautiful colors and tempting food.

I'd also like to take this chance to wish a happy, happy birthday to my bestest friend in the world and the love of my life, Pieter! What would you like for dinner tonight?
