Flamingo Pink

Yesterday we spent a few hours at the zoo. 
Seeing the flamingos was a highlight for me- 
their plumage was so gorgeous. 
And talk about quirky!


For those of you who are not exactly sure what flamingo pink is...

    They are so beautiful -- and stunning in person, I agree. I feel lucky to have grown up in Florida and be privy to seeing them often. I've heard they get that coloration because of all the shrimp they eat.

    Some of their plumage is almost a salmon pink - stunning!
