Form & Function Reflected

“Form follows function - that has been misunderstood.
Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union”
Frank Lloyd Wright

I am really enjoying the design aesthetic of the Danish company, Gubi
Simple, elegant, practical.

The Adnet mirror's leather equestrian inspired detailing sets it apart. Funny, I am usually all about gilded pieces with lots of ornament.

The Adnet mirror was designed in 1950 by the iconic designer, Jacques Adnet.

From the late 1920's until 1960, Adnet lead La Compagnie des Arts Francais. He described himself as an innovator and classicist, preferring to combine exotic woods with metal, leather and mirrored glass to create his exclusive designs.

Where are your design preferences leading you?
