Why is it that 99% of homes in the U.S. have straight, narrow, boring moldings? Why must the door always be a rectangle?

Hi Annie, love those arches, I wouldn't mind having some arches at home, well, I have two arched windows on top of the living room window and on top of the door, does that count?

We love arches and included them into our homes. It is more expensive to use arches and people cut corners and go with straight lines. They don't realize the huge impact they have.
