Check out this slide, known as the "transfer accelerator," at the city of Utrecht's newly renovated Overvecht train station. Engineered by the Dutch design firm, HIK Ontwerpers, it was originally meant for children, but adults partake just as much!
You'd definitely find me on this subway slide, as long as it wasn't raining!

This is fantastic. My husband and I were just talking about how to infuse more creative play into our life and the lives of our children. This is a perfect example of how a community can encourage create play (and practical use) into the lives of its citizens.
